I came across a bunch of drawings I made on a trip to Vienna this May:
a guided group of tourists at Stephansplatz
the museum of natural history with local traffic
the opera
Michaelerplatz –
a popular destination to catch a ‘fiaker’ (a horse drawn carriage )
the palmenhaus – a place for a coffee or a drink
Cafe Prueckel – where angels may watch over you and your coffee
close by is Stubenbruecke with statues by Franz West…
…and Stadtpark
Landstrasze – drawn while walking
a house being ‘decorated’ by birds
a Buergerhaus close to Naschmarkt
the Urania, an observatory, in the back
… and where else would pharmacies and pubs share a sign?
Take care

Very nice! You should do one of the ghastly Mozart-men hustling for concerts in costume around Stephansplatz. If they hear anyone speaking English it’s like sharks with blood in the water…
Thanks Brooke! Yes you are right! How could I not have drawn one of them yet? Next visit for sure :-). Also, maybe we should be doing a joint project one of these days…
