I hated every minute of training, but I said,”Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”

-Muhammad Ali

I am not sure how much training went into it, but champions were crowned today at

The Whole Enchihuahua 2012

a contest for costumed dogs in San Francisco’s Dolores Park . Lead by their owners down the catwalk, judges noted performance in the categories – personality, flair, swagger, composure and showmanship. Lovely costumes were on display, ranging all the way from ‘Burrito’ to ‘Jackie O’.

In the end several proud winners were crowned.

…but not everyone cared anymore.

And by the way, if you – like me – wonder whatever happened to unicorns, I have the answer for you. They hide and only come out to compete in dog shows!
